From the article I learned the power of copyright laws. However things that are not licensed can be used for educational or work purposes as long as the idea is not being stolen for profit. However if the work is licensed you need to view the guidelines of the license before you use it or else you could get into trouble. For the most part anything not being used for profit could be used for your own reasons unless it specifically says otherwise. So you can feel safe drawing something that you find on the internet for school.
