My Spring Break

I enjoyed the weather, and played basketball, baseball, football, soccer; all different kinds of sports. I spent time with my family, went out driving a lot with my mom. I ended up getting a car which is pretty sick. And my Grandma returned from Georgia where she goes every year to stay out of the cold weather.

Wikipedia 4/15/15

Wikipedia is a convenient and easy to read and understand source for information. It is great for those reasons and the information is endless. You can usually immediately find what you need on Wikipedia and then from there you can lead to more and more links to back up your information or learn more specific pieces of information. When I was younger I would listen to my teachers and avoid it but now I always use it, and it has made writing papers and finding research so much easier and more efficient. The videos in class further prove this point and show that despite it is a wiki format the site remains accurate.

Reflection 4/13/15

The article believes Social Media should and could be used in a way that is smarter. Ways that are good for students who are also career and future minded. You shouldn't act like you are invisible over social media because the things you say could be used against you. All stupid selfies or racist remarks could be used against you. Instead of saying stupid stuff you should be establishing a intellectual reputation and carrying a brand around. Keep something that defines you in a positive way across all forms of social media. Start building a profile that could help you instead of hurt you. You don't know who can see your social media since everything runs through that. Social Media can actually help you but it could hurt you more so think before you post.
